Refund policy
This policy explains how refunds, cancellations, service issues, and product returns are handled by DISTRICTCLEAN.
1) Service Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule a service appointment, contact us as early as possible. Cancellations requested before dispatch or before work begins may be eligible for a refund, minus any non-recoverable processing costs or fees already incurred.
If a team has already been dispatched, arrived, or started work, cancellation or trip fees may apply.
2) Service Satisfaction
If you believe a completed service did not match the agreed scope, contact us within 7 days of completion. We may request photos or details and may offer a correction, partial credit, or other resolution depending on the situation.
3) Product Return Window
For eligible physical products purchased online, returns may be requested within 30 days of delivery.
4) Product Return Requirements
Returned items must be:
- Unused and in resellable condition
- Returned with original packaging and included accessories
- Accompanied by proof of purchase, such as an order number or receipt
5) Items Generally Not Eligible for Return
Unless defective on arrival or required by law, the following are generally not returnable:
- Gift cards and digital items
- Clearance or final sale items
- Used/opened cleaning supplies or hygiene-sensitive products
- Custom or special-order items
- Items returned damaged, incomplete, or missing packaging
6) How to Request a Return or Refund
Email support@districtclean.us with:
- Order or service reference number
- Item or service involved
- Reason for the request
- Photos if the product arrived damaged or the issue is visual
If approved, we will provide return instructions and an RMA reference if needed. Please do not ship returns without authorization.
7) Return Shipping Costs
- Change of mind or wrong item ordered: customer pays return shipping
- Our error, defective item, or verified transit damage: we cover reasonable return shipping after review
8) Refund Timing
After a return is received and inspected, approved refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days. Banks may take an additional 3–7 business days to post funds.
9) Order Cancellations
If you cancel a product order before shipment, we refund minus a 5% processing offset for non-recoverable payment processor fees. If the order has shipped, the return process applies.
